24-hour express – what can and cannot be done
Express large format printing works best for products that are printed and finished in our plant without waiting for parts from outside. Usually possible within 24 hours of approved files:
- PVC banners and mesh with welded hems and eyelets
- self-adhesive vinyl, window graphics and floor graphics
- prints on foam PVC, dibond and other boards
- roll-ups and fabric graphics for existing frames
- posters and backlit films
Usually not possible in 24 hours: light boxes and illuminated letters, large CNC-routed sets, items needing special materials we do not stock, and very large orders. For these, the standard is about 3 working days and large projects take up to about 14 days plus transport. Our guide on lead times and 24-hour express goes into more detail.
The express surcharge: on average approx. +40%
| Order | Standard (about 3 working days) | Express 24 h (approx. +40%) |
|---|---|---|
| 40 m² coated banner 510 g, hemmed and eyeleted | 40 × €8 = approx. €320 net | approx. €448 net |
| Roll-up standard 85 × 200 cm | from approx. €55 net | from approx. €77 net |
| Straight banner wall 240 × 230 cm | from approx. €210 net | from approx. €294 net |
Express production means interrupting the planned queue, so it costs more. On average the surcharge is approx. +40% of the price. A worked example for coated 510 g banner, where 16–49 m² costs approx. €8 net per m²:
- 01Brief
Description, sizes, site photos and deadline — a few sentences are enough.
- 02Design and quote
Our designers prepare artwork or a visualisation and you get a price.
- 03Approval
You approve the design; for brand colours we provide a proof.
- 04Production
35+ machines in our own plant in Poland: 3.2 m UV print, CNC, laser, 3D, sewing.
- 05Installation or delivery
Own crews and vehicles across Europe, partner network, couriers worldwide.
Dedicated transport: delivery times to Germany, Austria, the UK and Spain
Fast printing is useless if the parcel then waits three days in a courier hub. Our own vans drive across Europe every day, and for urgent jobs we use dedicated transport. Typical delivery times after dispatch:
- Germany and Austria: usually the next working day
- UK and Barcelona: about 2 days
- Madrid: 2–3 days
- Other destinations: courier, dedicated courier or our own route, quoted per job
These are typical times, not guarantees; traffic, ferries and customs for the UK can add time. For the UK we handle export paperwork with our forwarders; ask us about delivery terms. More on routes on delivery and installation across Europe.
How to prepare files so you do not lose time
Most express jobs lose hours on files, not on printing. To keep the 24 hours:
- Send print-ready PDF files at final size or a stated scale, with bleed.
- Convert fonts to outlines and embed images at sufficient resolution for the viewing distance.
- State finishing clearly: hems, eyelets every 50 cm, pole pockets, cut to shape.
- Give one contact person who can approve a proof within the hour.
- Confirm the full delivery address, contact phone and time window at the start.
Our in-house studio runs file preparation and preflight; the basic check is included. See also how to prepare a banner file.
- 24 hexpress printing (UV inks need no drying)
- approx. 3 daysstandard lead time
- up to 14 dayslarge and custom projects with installation
Plus courier delivery. Tell us your date — we plan production around it.
Installation on site after delivery
If the material has to be fitted on arrival, our own crews with a platform lift up to 18 m or partner companies we work with in the EU can install it. A crew of two costs approx. €42 net per hour, and our own crew's travel costs approx. €1 net per km, counted both ways from Wieluń. For express jobs abroad it is usually faster to book a partner near the site; we arrange that when we confirm the date. See installation in Poland and Europe.
An express enquiry – what to send straight away
Send everything in the first message: the products with sizes and quantities, finishing, files or a link to them, the delivery address with postcode and country, and the latest acceptable delivery time. We reply with a realistic date and price, or tell you honestly that the date cannot be met. Prices are indicative and confirmed before production.
Our head office and main production plant are in Wieluń, Poland, where we have been producing since 1991. Write in your language and we reply in it; we handle all 14 languages of this site. The ORLEN OIL case study shows a large banner batch produced for a campaign with a short start date.
