When a pop-up, when a shop-in-shop
Both put a brand into someone else's space, but they are built differently:
- Pop-up shop: a stand-alone space for days or weeks, in an empty unit, a mall atrium or at an event. It must go up and come down fast, often overnight, and usually moves on to another location.
- Shop-in-shop: a branded zone inside a retailer's store, planned for months or years. It can use heavier materials and fixed installation; see shop-in-shop and display fit-outs.
This page covers the first case. Our approach to pop up shop design and build is to start from logistics: how many locations, how long at each, how much time is allowed for installation, and how the kit travels. The look follows from that.
A structure for fast installation and repeated use
A pop-up that takes two days to build costs two days of rent and crew. We design around modular systems that two people can assemble:
- aluminium SEG frames that click together, with fabric graphics pushed into the profile by a silicone edge
- illuminated SEG frames for back walls and product niches
- counters, plinths and shelving from printed honeycomb board, foam PVC or MDF, cut on our CNC router
- display cubes and tables for product presentation
- graphics that can be swapped without replacing the structure
Every part is labelled and packed so that the kit can be taken down and repacked in the same boxes for the next venue. The same frames can carry new fabric for the next campaign.

SEG fabric, floor graphics and board furniture
| Element | Indicative price, net |
|---|---|
| SEG frame module 100 × 230 cm with fabric graphic | from approx. €160 |
| Replacement fabric graphic for that module | from approx. €65 |
| Light box with SEG fabric face, LED | from approx. €300 per m² |
| Honeycomb board 10 mm with UV print (furniture, plinths) | approx. €30–45 per m² |
| Floor graphic with R10 anti-slip laminate | approx. €19–30 per m² |
| Night installation or work outside mall hours | from approx. €65 per hour |
Fabric graphics are printed with LED UV ink for textiles or by dye-sublimation, and the silicone edge is sewn on in our own sewing room. Rigid parts are printed directly on board by our UV printers, which print up to 3.2 m wide without joins. Floor graphics get an anti-slip laminate rated R10.
Shopping centres often ask for fire-rated materials. On request we check the availability of a material with the required certificate before quoting; tell us the venue's requirements early.
Transport and installation in a shopping centre
Malls give short installation windows, usually at night or before opening, with rules for deliveries and access. We plan transport to arrive inside that window. Our own vans drive across Europe every day; on dedicated transport Germany and Austria are usually reached the next working day, the UK and Barcelona in about 2 days and Madrid in 2–3 days.
Installation is done by our own crews or by partner companies we work with in the EU. Our crew's travel costs approx. €1 net per km, counted both ways from Wieluń. For agencies we work under white label: no logo on packaging, crews without our branding, an NDA on request.

Plus courier delivery. Tell us your date — we plan production around it.
Moving the pop-up to the next city
A touring pop-up is planned as a route:
- Fix the list of cities and dates, with the installation window at each venue.
- Decide which graphics change per location, for example language versions or local offers.
- We print the local graphics in advance and pack them with the kit or send them ahead.
- Between venues the kit travels with our vans or a courier, depending on size.
- Spare graphics for damaged parts can be printed in 24 hours at an average surcharge of approx. +40%.
For tours with tents, flags and outdoor elements rather than an indoor shop, see roadshow branding.
Prices and how to get a quote
Every pop-up is quoted from a brief, because size and materials vary widely. Send us the floor plan or the size of the unit, the venue's rules, the number of locations and dates, and any visuals. Our studio prepares a layout and an installation visual, and we return a quote with indicative prices that we confirm before production.
Our head office and main production plant are in Wieluń, Poland, where we have been producing since 1991. Write in your language and we reply in it; we handle all 14 languages of this site. Exhibition-style walls are also covered on exhibition graphics printing.
