Sign makers and exhibition stands for Glasgow, delivered and installed

Exhibition stands for Glasgow: the SEC

Most exhibitions, conferences and big events in Glasgow happen at the Scottish Event Campus on the Clyde, which includes the SEC Centre halls, the SEC Armadillo and the OVO Hydro arena. That is where most of the stand kit we send to Glasgow ends up, delivered within the build-up slot set by the organiser.

Exhibition stands for Glasgow, made by us, are kit you keep: pop-up fabric walls, SEG frames, counters, roll-ups and flags. Everything packs into cases and is rebuilt at the next show with new graphics only. We can send a crew to build the stand or deliver it ready for your own team.

Shop signs in Glasgow

Buchanan Street, Sauchiehall Street, the Merchant City and the West End around Byres Road are where most Glasgow shop signs go up: bars, restaurants, independent shops and branches of retail chains. Typical jobs:

  • Single-sided LED light box: from approx. €320 net per m²; double-sided from approx. €410 net per m².
  • Built-up letters: front-lit from approx. €46 net each, halo-lit from approx. €55 net.
  • Double-sided projecting sign with bracket: from approx. €300 net.
  • LED neon on PVC up to 60 × 40 cm: from approx. €210 net.
  • One Way Vision window film: approx. €10–18 net per m².

Glasgow’s wet climate is one reason we build light boxes on aluminium profiles and seal LED connections for outdoor use. Signs, particularly illuminated ones, usually need advertisement consent from Glasgow City Council as the planning authority, and listed buildings and conservation areas bring stricter rules. We do not apply for you or give legal advice, but we prepare the photomontage and dimensioned drawings an application normally needs, from approx. €85 net. Ranges: light box manufacturer, built-up letters.

Football, concerts and event graphics

With Celtic Park, Ibrox and Hampden Park in the city and a busy calendar at the Hydro, event graphics are a steady line of work for Glasgow: barrier covers in mesh or coated PVC (approx. €7–13 net per m²), press backdrops (300 × 250 cm fabric from approx. €490 net), pop-up gazebos with full print (3 × 3 m from approx. €750 net) and feather flags (from approx. €47 net including pole). Our projects for sports clubs and leagues are shown in our case studies.

We have no office in Glasgow. Our head office and main production plant are in Wieluń, Poland, where we have been producing since 1991 on more than 35 machines: UV printing up to 3.2 m wide without seams, LED UV on textiles, dye sublimation, CNC routing, laser cutting and our own sewing room. Our vans run across Europe every day. The UK is outside the EU, so each shipment needs export paperwork; we handle that with our forwarders and build the time into the schedule. Ask us about delivery terms to the UK when you request a quote; prices can be quoted in GBP on request.

Installation and agency work in Glasgow

Our two-person crews cost approx. €42 net per hour, with a cherry picker up to 18 m and operator from approx. €230 net per day. Given the distance, we send our own crew for multi-site jobs and large builds; for a single shopfront a partner fitter in the Central Belt is the more economical option, and we deliver everything ready to fit with drilling templates. Glasgow agencies can order on a white label basis, with neutral packaging and no branding of ours on site: see white label printing.

We also deliver to…

  • London: agency work, ExCeL and Olympia, shop signs
  • Birmingham: NEC exhibition stands, retail signs
  • Manchester: scaffold banners, stadium and event branding
  • Edinburgh: signs for the Old and New Town, EICC and Royal Highland Centre
  • Leeds: multi-site retail rollouts, shop signs, Yorkshire venues
  • Bristol: hoarding and scaffold banners, light boxes, shop signs
  • Dublin: EU delivery without customs, RDS and Convention Centre Dublin
  • Across Europe: delivery and installation in Europe

Some of our projects for retail chains, sports clubs and institutions are shown in our case studies.
