What we route and cut for the trade
Sign makers, print shops and shopfitters often have more work than machine time, or a job that needs a bigger bed, a laser or a material they do not stock. We work as an outsourced production partner:
- letters and logos cut from acrylic, foam PVC, dibond or MDF, for face-lit, halo-lit or flat-cut signs
- faces and backs for light boxes, routed with push-through openings
- shaped panels, display parts, counter fronts and inserts
- stand-off signs, plaques and nameplates, printed and cut to shape
- hot-bent acrylic for displays and holders
We route on CNC, cut on laser and oscillating knife, and print directly on boards with UV printers before cutting, so print and shape register exactly. See CNC routing and panel cutting and bending. Our guide on routing acrylic, PVC and dibond shows what can be cut.
Materials: acrylic, dibond, foam PVC, MDF and composites
| Process | Typical materials | Indicative price, net |
|---|---|---|
| CNC routing 2D, material up to 3 mm | dibond, foam PVC, HIPS | approx. €2 per linear metre of path |
| CNC routing 2D, material up to 10 mm | acrylic, foam PVC, MDF | approx. €3 per linear metre of path |
| CNC routing 2D, material up to 20 mm | acrylic, MDF, thick PVC | approx. €6 per linear metre of path |
| Laser cutting up to 5 mm | acrylic, PET | approx. €1 per linear metre of path |
| Laser cutting 6–10 mm | acrylic | approx. €2 per linear metre of path |
| Oscillating knife up to 5 mm | foam PVC | approx. €2 per linear metre of path |
| Hot bending of acrylic | acrylic | approx. €6 per metre of bend |
We cut the usual sign-making materials, from stock or from material you supply:
- 01Brief
Description, sizes, site photos and deadline — a few sentences are enough.
- 02Design and quote
Our designers prepare artwork or a visualisation and you get a price.
- 03Approval
You approve the design; for brand colours we provide a proof.
- 04Production
35+ machines in our own plant in Poland: 3.2 m UV print, CNC, laser, 3D, sewing.
- 05Installation or delivery
Own crews and vehicles across Europe, partner network, couriers worldwide.
Files: vector formats, paths and tolerances
A CNC routing service for sign makers is only as fast as the files that come in. What we need:
- Vector files (DXF, AI, EPS or PDF with vectors) at 1:1 scale, with closed paths.
- Separate layers or colours for different operations: through-cut, pocket, engrave, bend line.
- Material, thickness and quantity for each part.
- Any tolerance that matters, for example letters that must fit returns or a face that must fit an existing box.
- For printed parts, the print file aligned to the cut file with registration marks or a shared origin.
Our studio checks files before cutting: open paths, duplicate lines and tiny details that a cutter of a given diameter cannot reproduce. If something will not cut as drawn, we tell you before we start. Our guide on the difference between plotter, CNC and laser helps choose the method.
Neutral packing and delivery to your workshop
Parts are protected with film where needed, packed by job and labelled with your reference, not our name. We ship in neutral packaging with no logo or price list inside, so you can forward parts straight to your client if you want. NDA on request.
Small jobs go by courier or dedicated courier, worldwide if needed. For larger or fragile sets, our own vans drive across Europe every day; on dedicated transport Germany and Austria are usually reached the next working day, the UK and Barcelona in about 2 days, and Madrid in 2–3 days. For the wider trade model, see white label printing.
- 24 hexpress printing (UV inks need no drying)
- approx. 3 daysstandard lead time
- up to 14 dayslarge and custom projects with installation
Plus courier delivery. Tell us your date — we plan production around it.
Series and repeat orders
Many sign makers send the same parts again and again: a franchise letter set, standard plaques, display inserts. We keep your cutting files and settings, so a repeat order only needs a reference and a quantity. Series runs are nested on full sheets to reduce waste, which lowers the cost per part.
The Wielton CNC case study shows a different side of the same machines: routing floor and side panels from boards supplied by an industrial customer, in batches returned to the production line.
Prices and quotes from your file
The fastest way to a price is to send the cutting file with material, thickness and quantity. We calculate tool path length, material and handling, and reply with an indicative price and a date; prices are confirmed before cutting. Standard production is about 3 working days.
Our head office and main production plant are in Wieluń, Poland, where we have been producing since 1991 on more than 35 machines. Write in your language and we reply in it; we handle all 14 languages of this site. If you need finished letters rather than cut parts, see built up letters.
