3D Letters and Dimensional Logos

Dimensional letters give an effect a flat sign cannot match: the logo gains depth, casts a shadow by day and glows at night. We cut them on CNC machines, assemble, illuminate and install them — on a facade, in reception, or on an office wall.

Specification

Materials: expanded PVC, acrylic (PMMA), finished Styrodur, Dibond, aluminium and stainless steel
Depth: from thin spacer letters to deep box letters with room for illumination
Illumination: from the front (lit face), from the side, from the back onto the wall (halo effect), or combinations
Finish: painted in a RAL colour or to brand guidelines, vinyl wraps, brushed-steel effect, mirror finish
Mounting: on spacers, on a mounting template, or on a shared support frame for insulated facades

Production options

Non-illuminated letters

The simplest and most affordable option. Works well indoors and on well-lit facades.

Letters with an illuminated face

The front of the letter lights up while the sides stay in colour. Best legibility from a distance after dark.

Letters with halo illumination

Light falls from behind the letter onto the wall, creating a glow around its outline. An elegant effect, popular with premium brands.

Shaped logo elements

Irregularly shaped brand marks combined with lettering. We make them from the same materials as the letters, so the whole sign stays consistent.

How we work

Send us your logo in vector format (PDF, AI, SVG) and a photo of the installation site.
We work out size, material and illumination type, and prepare a visualisation.
CNC cutting, bonding, painting, LED installation and a lighting test.
Installation using a template that keeps the letters level and evenly spaced.

Indicative price

The cost of lettering depends on height, the number of characters, material and illumination type. As a guide, the price for one 30 cm-high character:

Coated Styrodur letters (indoor, events): from approx. €13 net / character
Non-illuminated letters in Dibond or acrylic: from approx. €16 net / character
Front-illuminated letters: from approx. €46 net / character
Letters with halo illumination: from approx. €55 net / character
Letters with front and halo illumination: from approx. €70 net / character
Each additional +10 cm of height: approx. +€11 net / character

FAQ · 3D letters and logos

Frequently asked questions

What logo file do you need to make 3D letters?

A vector file works best: PDF, AI, EPS or SVG. If you only have a JPG or PNG, we can redraw your logo as a vector.

Can 3D letters be mounted on external wall insulation?

Yes, but it needs the right anchors that pass through the insulation layer, or a support frame. We choose the fixing method based on photos and a description of the facade.

What's the difference between halo and front illumination?

With front illumination, the face of the letter lights up. With halo illumination, the letter itself is solid, and light falls from behind onto the wall, creating a glow around the outline.

Is Styrodur suitable for outdoor use?

Styrodur works mainly indoors and at events. For facades we recommend PVC, acrylic, Dibond or metal, which cope better with sun and moisture.

Can you meet a fixed date?

Usually, yes. Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and express printing in 24 hours is possible. As the manufacturer we plan production ourselves, so we can schedule your job around your deadline. Add the date to your brief and we will confirm it before work starts.
