Large format printing for Bristol building sites
Bristol has seen years of redevelopment around Temple Quarter, the harbourside and the city centre, and building sites need print: hoardings around the plot, wraps on scaffolding, site boards with project information. Large format printing for Bristol is one of our most common UK jobs.
- Coated 510 g PVC for hoardings, 2–3 years outdoors: approx. €7–13 net per m².
- 550 g black-back for fences that let light through: approx. €9–16 net per m².
- 270 g mesh with liner for scaffolding: approx. €7–13 net per m².
- Reinforced 370 g mesh, pole pockets included: approx. €10–17 net per m².
- Site board 300 × 200 cm on legs: from approx. €350 net.
Worked example: 150 linear metres of 2.4 m high hoarding (360 m²) in 510 g coated PVC comes to approx. €2,520–4,680 net depending on artwork and finishing. We print up to 3.2 m wide without seams, hem and eyelet on automatic machines, and label each panel to match the fixing plan. More on scaffold mesh banners and banner printing.

Shop signs in Bristol and advertisement consent
Bristol’s independent high streets, Gloucester Road, Park Street, Stokes Croft and North Street, sit alongside Cabot Circus and Broadmead. Independents tend to choose letters, a projecting sign and window lettering; chains in the shopping centres want light boxes and full window graphics. Signs, especially illuminated ones, usually need advertisement consent from Bristol City Council as the local planning authority, and the city’s many conservation areas and listed buildings bring stricter rules. We do not apply on your behalf or give legal advice; we prepare the photomontage and dimensioned drawings from approx. €85 net. Ranges: light box manufacturer and built-up letters.
Events and exhibitions around Bristol
Football and rugby at Ashton Gate, which also hosts conferences, festivals on the harbourside and summer events on the Downs all need barrier covers, flags, gazebos (3 × 3 m with full print from approx. €750 net) and press backdrops. For business shows, the exhibition and conference centre at UWE on the northern edge of the city and the Bath & West Showground in Somerset are regular destinations. We deliver pop-up walls (from approx. €400 net), counters (from approx. €210 net) and roll-ups (from approx. €55 net) within the build-up slot. See exhibition graphics printing.

From our plant to Bristol
We have no office in Bristol. Our head office and main production plant are in Wieluń, Poland, where we have been producing since 1991 on more than 35 machines. Our vans run across Europe every day; the road distance to Bristol is approx. 1,730 km, about 18 hours of driving including the crossing, and goods arrive about 2 working days after the van leaves. Standard production takes approx. 3 working days, 24 h express print costs approx. 40% extra and large projects take up to approx. 14 days plus transport.
The UK is outside the EU, so export paperwork is handled with our forwarders and the time is built into the schedule; ask us about delivery terms. Our crew (approx. €42 net per hour, cherry picker up to 18 m from approx. €230 net per day) travels for approx. €1 net per km round trip, roughly €3,500 for Bristol, so for a single banner your scaffolding contractor or a partner fitter usually installs from our fixing plan.
Agencies and contractors
We work with Bristol agencies and with contractors who need site branding on a white label basis: neutral packaging, no branding of ours on site, an NDA on request. See white label printing.
