A computer repair shop has two very different kinds of customer. The first is someone whose laptop stopped switching on the day before their thesis defence. They search fast and pick a shop that is close and looks competent. The second is a company that needs its network, printers and dozens of workstations looked after. It signs a contract for years and judges you by your proposal and by how your technician walks into its office. Your advertising has to cover both.
The cheapest advertising in this trade is a small sticker with your phone number on the device you repaired. The computer goes back home or to the office, and next time it breaks nobody searches online for a repair shop: the contact is on the case. For businesses, asset labels work the same way: your number is on every monitor and printer. If you have a service vehicle, see our guide to [company vehicle wraps](/poradnik/oklejanie-samochodu-firmowego).
1. The repair shop from the street
A repair shop often occupies a small unit with the window blocked by shelving inside. It is better to put a list of what customers can bring in on the glass and leave a view of the counter: people want to see someone is working there. A light box shines in the evening, when customers come home from work with broken equipment.
- Light box above the entrance→Single-sided, LED, from approx. €320 net per m². A 300 × 60 cm light box comes to approx. €580 net (1.8 m² × approx. €320). Options on the page [illuminated light boxes](/produkty/kasetony-swietlne).
- Window listing your services→Printed vinyl approx. €6–12 net per m². Laptop repair, data recovery, screen replacement, business support: someone walking past knows straight away they are in the right place.
- A-board with the current offerDouble-sided A1 from approx. €90 net. Swap the poster when you have a laptop cleaning offer or the pre-school-year repair season.

2. Stickers and labels for equipment
This is the best money a repair shop spends. The sticker must be small, resistant to wear and placed where it does not get in the way: on the underside of the case, next to the rating plate, on the side of a desktop tower. Never on the screen or keyboard, because the customer will peel it off.
- Stickers with your contact details→Monomeric vinyl approx. €6–12 net per m², kiss-cutting approx. €1.20 net per metre. A single sheet holds a great many small stickers, so each one costs pennies.
- Numbered asset labels→For the companies you support: sequential number, barcode, your phone number. We print from a list, every label different. Priced by quantity and size.
- Inspection date labels→For printers, servers and UPS units. The client sees when the last service was, and their staff see who to call when something fails.
3. Technicians on the road
A technician going out to a client is the face of your business. A branded car outside the office building, a T-shirt and ID badge at reception: the client knows at once who has arrived, and security does not have to phone to ask who to let in.
- Service vehicle livery→Cast vinyl with laminate. Doors and rear of the car, about 3 m² (3 × approx. €29 + laminate 3 × approx. €8), come to approx. €115 net for the print; installation extra.
- T-shirts and sweatshirts for technicians→A4 print on a T-shirt at 20–49 pcs approx. €3.30 net, on a sweatshirt approx. €4 net.
- ID badges on lanyards→Name, photo, company. 100 badges 90 × 50 mm approx. €60 net; printed lanyards to match.

4. IT company office
In an office full of developers and sysadmins, the most common complaint is noise, not the decor. A printed acoustic panel solves both at once. Glass-walled meeting rooms need film, for privacy and so nobody walks into the glass.
- Printed acoustic panels→UV-printed acoustic fabric approx. €19–30 net per m². Your logo, company values, a photo from the team trip, instead of a bare wall in the open-plan office.
- Frosted film for meeting rooms→Approx. €12–21 net per m², with a cut-out logo or room name. A band at eye level is enough to keep client conversations out of view.
- Wall graphic in the kitchen or reception→Air-release vinyl wall sticker approx. €11–19 net per m². One large graphic on a single wall does more than ten small posters.
5. Business proposals and events
An IT support contract gets signed after several meetings. A folder with the proposal and a small practical giveaway stay with the client. For meetups, conferences and trade fairs, a roll-up banner and good business cards are enough.
- Presentation folders→A4, 350 g board with matt lamination, 100 folders approx. €135 net. For service contracts and tender bids.
- Branded USB sticks and power banks→16 GB USB stick with logo at 100 pcs from approx. €5 net, engraved 10,000 mAh power bank from approx. €15 net each. In IT, this is a giveaway people actually use.
- Roll-up banner for meetups and trade fairs→85 × 200 cm with graphic and bag from approx. €55 net.
- Business cards→500 double-sided cards approx. €15 net. Technicians should leave one at every client visit.

From our experience — what to watch out for
- Apply a service sticker with the customer’s consent and where it does not get in the way. A sticker on the screen or next to the touchpad will be peeled off on day one.
- For stickers on equipment that travels a lot, add laminate (approx. €5 net per m²). Without it, constant rubbing against a bag wears the print off faster.
- Only put “from” prices in the window for services whose price rarely changes. Keep the rest on a swappable poster in an A-board or frame.
- On the rear window of your service vehicle put your phone number and a line such as “IT support for businesses” on one-way vision film. The driver behind you has several minutes in traffic to read it.
- For asset labels, prepare the list of numbers in a spreadsheet. We will print every label with a different number in a single run.
