Light box price list: the starting point
| Light box type | From approx. | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|

| Double-sided, acrylic + vinyl face, LED | €410 / m² | Projecting sign, freestanding light box |
| Dibond face with routed acrylic letters | €390 / m² | Premium look: only the lettering glows |
| SEG fabric face in a profile frame | €300 / m² | Interiors, frequent graphic changes |
| Ultra-slim LED, A1 format | €165 / unit | Shop window, reception, store interior |
| Ultra-slim LED 100 × 200 cm | €440 / unit | Shopping centres, chains, large interiors |
| Double-sided projecting sign with bracket | €300 / unit | Small light box at right angles to the wall |
These are starting prices for a simple rectangular light box of standard depth, with an aluminium profile, LED modules and an IP67 power supply. We still quote every light box individually, because two signs with the same face area can differ in price by several tens of per cent. All versions are described on the LED light boxes page.
Worked examples: how we price it in practice
The easiest way to show it is with numbers. We take the rate from the price list and multiply it by the face area.
- Shop fascia light box 300 × 80 cm, single-sided. Area 3 × 0.8 = 2.4 m². 2.4 m² × €320 = approx. €770 net for the light box alone.
- Same size, but only the letters glow (Dibond face, routed acrylic lettering). 2.4 m² × €390 = approx. €940 net.
- Double-sided light box 200 × 100 cm on a post. 2 m² × €410 = approx. €820 net, excluding the support structure and foundation.
- Small projecting sign on a bracket by the entrance to a pharmacy or bureau de change: from approx. €300 net for the set including the bracket.
On very small light boxes, under 1 m², the rate per square metre usually goes up. The profile, power supply, corners and labour cost roughly the same whether the face is 0.5 or 1 m². So a small 60 × 60 cm light box will not cost "0.36 × €320", but more.

What pushes the price up and what brings it down
Talking to clients, we know the biggest surprise is how much depends on details that look harmless on a visual.
- Shape. A rectangle is the cheapest. A box following the outline of a logo, an oval or a circle needs a bent profile and a routed face, which means more work.
- Face type. Opal acrylic with vinyl is the standard. Routed Dibond with inset acrylic letters looks better at night but costs more.
- Depth and size. Above roughly 3 m in length a light box often has to be split into modules or the structure reinforced.
- Digital print or cut vinyl. Full-colour artwork printed on backlit film and simple lettering cut from vinyl are different costs. With printed faces we correct colours for backlighting, because colour in transmitted light looks different from the screen.
- Quantity. With several identical light boxes for a chain of outlets, the unit cost drops.
We do not recommend saving on the power supply and sealing. They are the most common cause of failure in cheap light boxes: water gets in through badly sealed corners, and a power supply without an adequate ingress rating dies after the first winter.
Installation, survey and extras people forget
The price of the light box is one thing; a finished, lit sign on the building is another. Your budget also needs to cover:
- Installation: two-person crew approx. €42 net per hour, minimum 4 hours per visit.
- Travel: approx. €1 net per km, counted both ways from Wieluń. For jobs further afield in the EU we can also use a partner installation team closer to your site.
- Cherry picker up to 18 m with operator: from approx. €230 net per day, if the light box is mounted high and ladders or scaffolding will not do.
- Removal of the old sign with disposal: approx. €16 net per m².
- Site survey: from approx. €85 net, refunded when you place the production order.
- Technical drawing or installation visual: from approx. €85 net, useful when talking to the landlord or the planning authority.
Example: a 300 × 80 cm light box (approx. €770) + 4 hours of fitting (€168) comes to approx. €940 net, plus travel by distance, without a cherry picker and without the electrical connection, which is done by the client's electrician or by our qualified crew. The quickest way to price your own light box
If you know the size, send it with the version you want and we will reply with a guide price. If you would rather talk it through, for a quote we need:
- the size of the space (width × height) and a straight-on photo of the building front,
- your logo as a vector file, or at least in good resolution,
- whether the light box is single- or double-sided,
- the mounting height and the address.
How to measure the wall properly and what else to prepare is covered in the guide how to measure the space for a shop sign. If you are torn between a light box and built-up letters, see the comparison light box or 3D letters.
