A startup rarely needs a sign over the door. What it does need is to look good wherever it meets investors, customers and future hires: at a conference, on a stand, in office photos on social media. Things usually happen fast: the conference date has been known for months, and the backdrop design arrives a week before departure. So at first contact we always ask for the date: standard turnaround is about 3 working days, express 24 hours.
The second thing is merch. In tech, a T-shirt, hoodie or laptop sticker isn’t a gadget for the drawer but something people actually wear and show off. The third, if you are building a device and not just an app, is prototypes and packaging. We have a 3D print farm and a 3D scanner, and we make packaging too, so the test model, the demo enclosure and the launch box can all come from one place.
1. Conferences, trade shows, demo day
On a startup stand one thing matters most: from five metres away it must be clear what you do. Logo plus one sentence about the product. A fabric backdrop is light, fits in a bag and flies as checked luggage. For the next event you change the graphic without buying a new frame.
- Hop-up backdrop behind the stand→A straight 300 × 230 cm backdrop from approx. €400 net, a new graphic for it from approx. €190 net. No glare from stage lights or lamps.
- Backdrop for recording and photos in the office→A background for webinars, podcasts and interviews. The same frame you take to conferences.
- Roll-up banners for the stand and meetups→A 100 × 200 cm roll-up banner from approx. €65 net. One about the product, one for recruiting: ‘We’re hiring’ and a QR code.

2. Merch people actually wear
Laptop stickers are a tech classic: cheap, handed out by the fistful and visible at every meeting. Order T-shirts and hoodies in a good cut with a small graphic, not a huge logo across the back; that’s the kind of clothing people wear outside work. Lanyards and mugs come in handy at events and in the office.
- Contour-cut laptop stickers→Printed monomeric vinyl approx. €6–12 net per m² plus contour cutting approx. €1.20 net per metre of cut line. A square metre holds several hundred small stickers.
- Team T-shirts and hoodies→An A4 print on T-shirts from 100 pieces is approx. €1.90 net each, approx. €3.30 net for 20–49. Print on a hoodie from approx. €4 net.
- Lanyards and event badges→Personalised 90 × 50 mm ID badges: 100 pcs approx. €60 net. Printed lanyards quoted on request.
- Mugs, water bottles and flasks→For 100 pieces: ceramic mug from approx. €6 net, water bottle from approx. €3.05 net, engraved flask from approx. €7 net each.
3. Onboarding new people
The first day at work sticks in the memory. A box with your logo, containing a T-shirt, a mug, a notebook and stickers, waits on the desk or arrives by courier for a remote worker. We do the whole kit: from production to packing and shipping to addresses on your list.
- Welcome pack in a logo box→A gift set engraved with your logo from approx. €6 net each for 50 pieces. Larger sets are built from chosen items and priced from the list.
- Logo notebooks and pens→A5 logo notebook from approx. €1.85 net each for 100 pieces, printed pen from approx. €0.35 net each for 500.

4. An office that looks good in photos
Team photos, recruitment posts, office videos: they all happen in front of your walls. A neon slogan, a logo on the meeting room glass and a big graphic in the kitchen do more than expensive furniture. If the office is rented, choose things that can come down when you move.
- LED neon with your logo or slogan→A neon on PVC backing up to 60 × 40 cm from approx. €210 net, on clear acrylic from approx. €300 net. It hangs on two hooks and moves with you to the next office.
- Frosted film with logo on meeting rooms→Privacy in meetings and branding in one. Frosted film approx. €12–21 net per m².
- Wall graphics in the shared area→Company values, a map, illustrations. Wall sticker approx. €6–12 net per m²; easy-remove air-release film approx. €11–19 net per m².
5. Physical product: prototype and launch
A hardware startup needs a test model, a demo enclosure for investors and packaging before production starts. Our 3D print farm will make a prototype from your file, and our 3D scanner will turn an existing part into a model. Launch packaging and augmented reality material (scan the box with a phone and see the device in action) round off the demo.
- 3D-printed prototypes and enclosures→Modelling approx. €45 net per hour, printing approx. €14 net per machine hour, large-format printing approx. €26 net per hour. Send an STL file for a quick quote.
- Launch and shipping boxes→Printed boxes sized to the device, also in short runs for first customers and reviewers. Priced by dimensions and quantity.
- AR and image-recognition print→A leaflet, poster or pack that shows a 3D model or video when scanned with a phone. Priced from your brief.

From our experience — what to watch out for
- Don’t put text below about 90 cm on the backdrop behind your stand. The counter, a table or people at the stand will hide it.
- Test the QR code on a roll-up banner from 2 metres away, under hall lighting. A code that is too small or on a dark background doesn’t work in practice.
- Order T-shirt sizes from a team survey, not ‘evenly S to XXL’. Boxes of unworn XXLs are a common sight in offices.
- Prepare the logo for merch as a vector and in a one-colour version. On a dark hoodie or a small mug a full-colour gradient usually loses legibility.
- Allow time for post-processing when ordering a prototype for an investor demo. Sanding and painting turn a print into an enclosure you can show.
