An online shop has no window and no fascia. Its 'premises' is the parcel that arrives at the customer's door, and that's where the whole physical side of its advertising happens. A plain box sealed with clear tape is no different from a parcel from any marketplace. A branded box, company tape, a thank-you card and a discount code for the next purchase make the customer remember the shop, not just the courier, and more likely to take a photo for social media.
In e-commerce scale and unit cost also matter. You start with small runs, then the number of parcels grows and larger runs start to pay. We advise where to start cheaply (tape, sticker, card) and where it's worth investing once sales pick up (printed box, mailing bag). The other world is offline selling: trade fairs, pop-ups, markets – there you need a light stand that fits in a car.
1. The outside of the parcel
This is what the courier, the neighbour and the customer's household see before anyone opens the box. If the budget is small, start with branded tape – it looks good on any box, whatever the size.
- Branded packing tape→The cheapest way to make every parcel branded. 48 mm × 60 m, 3 colours, 36 rolls – approx. €290 net. Other widths and colour counts are quoted on request.
- Printed shipping boxes→A box with the logo on the outside, or with graphics inside that are only seen on opening. Quoted by size and quantity.
- Printed mailing bags→For clothing and soft goods instead of a box. Lighter, cheaper to ship, and the print is visible all the way.

2. Inside the parcel
Unboxing is the moment the customer has time and attention. It's a good place for a thank-you, instructions and a reason to buy again. Small items cost pennies per piece and make the biggest difference to how the shop is perceived.
- Thank-you card→A few lines from the owner, sometimes a handwritten signature. Customers keep these cards and post photos of them online.
- Leaflet or folder with an offer and discount code→A code for the next order, a refer-a-friend offer, a new collection. DL folder, 6 pages, 1,000 pcs costs approx. €90 net.
- Printed tissue and wrapping paper→A product wrapped in branded paper looks like a gift, and the customer knows straight away where it came from. Quoted by format and quantity.
- Sleeves and pack inserts→A band round a product box or a small card slipped into the pack with instructions or ingredients. We can also insert them into parcels for you.
- Logo stickers for sealing tissue and boxes→A round sticker cut to the logo outline seals the paper and looks neater than tape. Print on white vinyl approx. €6–12 net per m² plus kiss-cutting.
- Printed gift vouchers→Before Christmas some customers want to give a 'choose your own' present. An elegant voucher in an envelope with a shop code sells better than an email with a code.
3. Product and label
If you sell your own products (cosmetics, candles, food, accessories) the label matters as much as the box. We match the label to the packaging material and to whether it will be applied by hand or by machine.
- Product labels on a roll→For jars, bottles, cartons. On a roll they're faster to apply by hand or machine. Other sizes and materials are quoted on request.

4. Logistics, kits and PR mailings
When influencer campaigns or parcels for B2B partners start, a lot of manual work follows. You can hand it to us: we pack kits according to your list and send each to a different address.
- Kit and PR parcel assembly→Product, card, giveaway and leaflet in one box, packed to your list. Kitting from approx. €3.30 net per set.
- Shipping to multiple addresses→An address list in a spreadsheet, and we dispatch the parcels. Kitting and multi-drop shipping approx. €2.80 net per address.
5. Trade fairs, pop-ups and offline sales
Online shops increasingly exhibit at trade fairs, markets and pop-ups in shopping centres. A light kit that one person can set up and carry in a car is enough.
- Stand for trade fairs and markets→A fabric wall, a counter with graphics and a roll-up – a kit that fits in a car boot. A 300 × 230 cm pop-up wall from approx. €400 net, a counter from approx. €210.
6. Online extras few people think of
We run several sites with calculators and product configurators ourselves, so we know what selling made-to-order items online looks like.
- Product configurator or price calculator for your shop→If you sell personalised products, a configurator with a live preview and instant price cuts the number of enquiry emails. Quoted from a brief.
- Packaging with augmented reality→The customer points their phone at the box or leaflet and sees a video, instructions or a product animation. Runs on our [UltronAR](https://ultronar.com/) platform.

From our experience — what to watch out for
- Start with branded tape and a sticker. Both fit any box, and you don't have to order boxes in several sizes straight away.
- Order boxes in as few sizes as possible. Every extra size is a separate production run and a higher unit price.
- Don't print discount codes with a short expiry on a whole run of leaflets. Better a permanent code, or a card where the code is added with a stamp.
- Remember the courier won't handle the parcel gently. Print on the outside of the box should withstand scuffing – light, smooth board shows dirt faster than kraft.
- For labels on cosmetics and food, tell us up front whether the product will be in a fridge, a bathroom or in contact with oil. The material and adhesive depend on it.
