A sports centre runs several venues under one management, and each needs something different. The hall needs branding for matches and tournaments. The tennis courts need windscreens that have to be replaced every few seasons. The ice rink needs perimeter board banners and season tickets. The community pitch and outdoor gym need rules boards that survive rain and marker pens. Then there is the events calendar: the city run, the amateur teams’ tournament, summer holiday activities. All of it from the centre’s budget, through requests for quotation, and with dates that can’t be moved.
In venues like these, durability decides a lot. Floor graphics must survive a season of machine scrubbing, a banner on the stadium fence must survive the winter, and the skatepark rules board must survive teenagers. We choose materials for that, not for the lowest line price. We also design and install, at night or between games if the venue is busy all day.
1. Entrance, ticket desk and venue signage
Visitors look for the changing rooms, the ticket desk, the entrance to the stands or a particular court. On a large complex that means dozens of signs and pointers; better to design them as a system, with one typeface and colour scheme, than to add them one at a time over the years.
- Wayfinding system for the complex→A site plan at the entrance, direction signs, signs for changing rooms, stands and sectors. Survey from approx. €85 net, refunded when you order production.
- Illuminated price board and sign at the ticket desk→A single-sided light box from approx. €320 net per m². Prices on replaceable film: when rates change you replace only the face.
- Rules for the community pitch, skatepark and outdoor gym→Dibond with UV print, approx. €35–55 net per m², with anti-graffiti laminate approx. €10 net per m². A PVC board won’t last a season at a skatepark.

2. Sports hall and courts
A logo in the centre of the court is only the start of hall branding. What counts is what shows up on the livestream and in photos: the backdrop behind the basket, the boards along the line, the interview wall. How to plan it is covered in our guide to [sports hall branding](/poradnik/oprawa-hali-sportowej).
- Logos and graphics on the court floor→Floor vinyl with R10 anti-slip laminate, approx. €19–30 net per m². A 2 × 2 m logo is 4 m², approx. €120 net plus contour cutting.
- Tennis court windscreens→Printed 270 g mesh. Two short ends of a court, 2 × 18 m at 2 m high, make 72 m²; at approx. €7 net per m² that is approx. €505 net.
- Banners for stands and perimeter boards→510 g coated banner lasting 2–3 seasons, approx. €7–13 net per m². Space for sponsors and the city, replaced when contracts change.
- Sponsor wall for interviews→A 300 × 230 cm pop-up fabric wall from approx. €400 net, a 300 × 250 cm backdrop from approx. €490 net. After the match, for press conferences, for the sports awards night.
3. Runs and mass events
A city run or tournament means hundreds of participants, volunteers and one date that can’t be moved. Close entries a few days before the bibs are due; then we can print them with names and nobody has to write on them in marker.
- Race bibs→A5 on synthetic paper with four holes: 100 bibs approx. €80 net, 500 approx. €165 net. They don’t get soggy or tear at the safety pins.
- Start-finish arch and wall→A 6 m inflatable arch from approx. €1,490 net, a 5 × 3 m start-finish wall from approx. €880 net. With no date on the graphics they serve future editions.
- Barrier covers→Mesh covers for barriers along the course and in the finish area, approx. €7–13 net per m². They hide the tubes and give space for sponsors.
- ID badges and wristbands→100 badges of 90 × 50 mm approx. €60 net, for officials, volunteers and media. Zone wristbands and lanyards are available too.

4. Classes, passes and staff
The centre also sells classes: sports schools, aerobics, skating lessons, holiday day camps. The material is simple but needed every season, and it is good when it looks the same across all venues.
- Tickets and passes→55 × 170 mm tickets with perforation, glued into pads: 1,000 pcs approx. €75 net. We number them so the ticket desk can reconcile sales.
- Diplomas and certificates→For sports school, day camp and tournament participants, with names printed from a list, no handwriting. Priced by quantity and paper.
- Posters with class timetables→100 A2 posters approx. €85 net. For schools, noticeboards and shops, before the ice rink season and before the summer holidays.
- T-shirts for staff and instructors→An A4 print from 100 pieces is approx. €1.90 net each. Visitors know straight away who to ask about changing rooms or skate hire.

From our experience — what to watch out for
- Agree floor graphics with the company that maintains the floor. Some lacquers need time to cure after refinishing before film can go on.
- Order windscreens with extra eyelets along the edges. In wind a court acts like a sail, and standard eyelets tear out within a season.
- Give each sponsor a separate panel on stand banners. When a contract ends you replace one banner, not the whole strip.
- Order spare race bibs for on-the-day entries; a few dozen blank bibs always come in handy.
- Mount rules boards at outdoor venues higher than anyone can reach from a bench. Less graffiti and fewer stickers to scrape off.
