A club has two audiences for its advertising at once: the fan and the sponsor. Fans want to know where the entrance, ticket office and food stand are, and will happily buy a scarf or a bottle with the crest. Sponsors pay to have their logo seen – at the match, in photos in the local paper and in the social media recap. So most of a club's work is on fence banners and the backdrop the coach gives interviews in front of.
The second thing is wear and tear. Pitchside banners take hits from the ball, the wind and the sun, and every season some sponsors change. We usually advise agreeing one module (e.g. 3 × 1 m) for all sponsors and choosing material to suit the fence – what works on different fences is covered in our guide to [banners for stands and pitch fencing](/poradnik/banery-na-trybuny-i-ogrodzenia-boiska). Club budgets are modest, so we also suggest cheaper versions.
1. Pitch, fencing and stands
This is where a sponsor 'lives' all season. On mesh fencing we use banners with eyelets every 50 cm and fix them with cable ties, not string – string loosens within a week and the banner starts flapping. On an open, windy pitch mesh works better, letting some of the wind through. By the stands there are barriers too.
- Sponsor banners for pitch fencing→The backbone of sponsorship income. One common module for every company looks neat on video and is easy to replace when a sponsor changes.
- Windbreak mesh and screens for courts and fences by the stands→Printed mesh shields a court or pitch from the wind while carrying logos. Over large areas it's cheaper than solid banner and safer for the fence.
- Barrier covers by the stand and entrance→Barriers go up for every match, so it's a shame to leave them bare. A cover goes on in minutes and goes into storage after the season.

2. Sports hall, court and changing rooms
Indoors, advertising is closer to the camera, so quality of finish matters. On the court we only use vinyl with anti-slip laminate, always agreed with the venue manager. The changing room and corridor are the place for graphics for the players – crest, club history, motto. Combat sports clubs also ask about printed mats.
- Club and sponsor logos on the court→A sticker in the centre circle or by the sideline appears in every match photo. R10 laminate protects the graphic and doesn't create a slippery patch.
- Changing room and corridor wall graphics→Crest, squad, photos of past successes. Air-release vinyl goes on without bubbles even on a painted wall.
- Printed ring and cage mats→For boxing, MMA and wrestling clubs. A mat with sponsor logos in the centre is the most visible spot at the whole fight night.
3. Matchday: entrance, media, fan zone
For a home match it's worth having a set that goes up in half an hour and packs into a bag. The sponsor backdrop for interviews works hardest, because it's in every post-match video. Sponsor feather flags work well at the entrance, and for bigger events – an arch or tunnel for the players to walk out through.
- Sponsor backdrop for interviews and photos→Logos in a step-and-repeat behind the coach and players. Matt fabric gives no glare from lights and flash, so logos read clearly on TV and phones.
- Gazebo for the fan zone, VIP area or club shop→A printed gazebo turns a corner of the ground into a point of sale for season tickets and merchandise. Also useful at fairs and away tournaments.
- Player tunnel or entrance arch→For big matches, anniversaries and youth tournaments. The team walking out through a tunnel with the crest makes an impression and gives sponsors extra space.
- Sponsor feather flags at the entrance and along the pitch→One person can set up a light pole and flag. A ground spike for grass or a cross base for hard ground – we match it to the location.

4. Team and fans
Club merchandise costs money, but you earn on it in the club shop. Training and fan T-shirts, bottles, lanyards with the crest – at a few dozen pieces prices are already reasonable. For events add badges for press, officials and volunteers.
- T-shirts and hoodies with the crest for the team and fans→Transfer print holds well on polyester and cotton. At 50–99 pieces an A4 print comes to approx. €2.35 net per item.
- Club bottles and mugs→Players use a crested bottle at every training session, and fans buy it at the club shop. A good end-of-season gift for sponsors.
- Lanyards, wristbands and badges for press and staff→At a tournament it's instantly clear who's an official, who's media and who's a volunteer. Wristbands also work as VIP passes.
5. Club print: tickets, posters, season tickets
A match poster in the shop and at the bus stop still brings people to the stands in smaller towns. Perforated, numbered tickets and season tickets make cashing up easier. These are small jobs, but they repeat every round, so it's good to have a template ready.
- Match posters and season fixture list→One design with the opponent and date swapped in. An A2 poster in a run of 100 costs approx. €85 net.
- Tickets, season tickets and fundraising cards→Perforated tickets, padded, numbered. 1,000 pieces cost approx. €75 net.

From our experience — what to watch out for
- Get the sponsor's logo as a vector file (PDF, AI, SVG) when the contract is signed. A logo downloaded from social media comes out blurred on a 3 m banner.
- On mesh fencing use eyelets every 50 cm and cable ties. In strong wind – closer eyelets or mesh instead of solid banner.
- Agree one format for all sponsors. A line of equal banners looks professional, and when a sponsor changes you only print one piece.
- Order the interview backdrop in matt material. A glossy banner under lights and flash shows white patches where the logo should be.
- Agree court floor stickers with the hall manager before ordering – some venues have their own rules on vinyl and its removal.
