In a school or nursery there's no room for materials that smell, are slippery or burn easily. That's the first difference from a shop or office. For classrooms and corridors we use non-woven wallpaper with fire reaction class B-s1,d0, odour-free after hanging, and on floors only vinyl with R10 anti-slip laminate. Certificates are available on request – the head teacher will ask for them anyway.
The second difference is the calendar. Bigger jobs are planned for half-term and the summer holidays, enrolment for the spring, and the money often comes from funded projects, the parents' association or the local authority budget. So we prepare quotes that can be split into stages, and for funded projects we include the information plaque or poster from the start. If you need an official name plaque with a national emblem, where the law prescribes one, send us the wording approved by the governing body.
1. Building and fence
Outside, a school needs a clear name, information about entrances and a place for notices to parents. The street-side fence is the best spot for an enrolment banner.
- Nursery or school name board→Dibond with UV print, colourful and durable, approx. €35–55 net per m². For an official plaque with an emblem we follow the template you provide.
- Enrolment banner for the fence→'Now enrolling', open days, phone. A 3 × 1 m banner costs approx. €39 net; undated, it lasts several years.
- Plaque for a funded project→Energy retrofits, labs, playgrounds funded by EU or national programmes. Dibond 200 × 100 cm on a frame from approx. €165 net, to the template in the agreement.

2. Corridors and classrooms
A colourful wall in a nursery or a themed motif in a subject room changes the space more than fresh paint. We hang it during the holidays, and the next day the children can go in, because non-woven gives off no odour.
- Nursery room wall mural→Forest, animals, a fairy-tale town. B-s1,d0 non-woven, approx. €15–25 net per m²; a 12 m² wall comes to approx. €240 net.
- Themed graphics in subject rooms→The periodic table, a world map, a timeline in the history room. Wall stickers approx. €6–12 net per m², easy to replace.
- Corridor floor games→Hopscotch, a maze, a jumping track. Vinyl with R10 laminate, approx. €19–30 net per m²; at break time children play instead of running.
- Room and office signs→Room number, subject, nurse's room, counsellor. Printed PVC from approx. €21 net per m² – cheap and safe, with no sharp edges.
3. Dining hall, after-school club, sports hall
Noise in the dining hall and after-school club tires children and staff. Printed acoustic panels solve the echo and decorate the wall at the same time.
- Acoustic panels with graphics→UV-printed acoustic fabric on a frame. At 6 m² approx. €25 net per m², i.e. approx. €150 net for the graphic; certificates on request.
- After-school club decoration→A wall mural or large character stickers in the play area. Replaced after a few years without redecorating the wall.

4. Enrolment and open days
Parents choose schools and nurseries ever more carefully, comparing several. For an open day a proper roll-up helps, and on a trip – something that shows at a glance who belongs to which group.
- Roll-up for open days and fairs→Photos from lessons, what you offer, contact details. From approx. €55 net; afterwards it stands by the school office.
- T-shirts for trips and competitions→One colour for the whole group, A4 print at 50–99 pcs approx. €2.35 net per item. On a trip the teacher counts the children at a glance.
- Badges and wristbands for trips→Name, group and the supervisor's phone on a badge or wristband. Lanyards and wristbands can be configured at printstrap.com.
5. For pupils and parents
End of year, school milestones, competitions – at school someone is always receiving something. With their name printed, it means more than written in with a pen.
- Certificates and thank-you cards with names→We print from an Excel list, each certificate with a different name, no handwriting needed.
- School calendar with class photos→The parents' association sells it at the fair and raises money for a trip. Price depends on format and quantity.
- Reward stickers for nursery children→Sheets of small stickers with nursery group motifs. Children love them, and the teacher has a simple praise system.

From our experience — what to watch out for
- Choose only certified, odour-free materials for classrooms. Vinyl wallpaper is washable, but for nurseries we more often recommend B-s1,d0 non-woven.
- Floor graphics only with anti-slip laminate, and away from entrance doors where sand and water get tracked in.
- Plan work for half-term or the summer holidays and place the order 3–4 weeks ahead. In August many schools want everything at once.
- Use children's photos on banners and calendars only with parents' consent. It's safer to use photos from lessons where faces can't be recognised.
- For funded projects, include the information plaque or poster from the start. Without them, settling the project can be delayed.
