The countryside has its own advertising rules. A customer driving along a country road has a few seconds to see that there are strawberries, potatoes or eggs here, and where to turn. Nobody stops for a banner with small lettering and a long list. The second thing is grants: modernisation, machinery and buildings funded by EU programmes often require the investment to be marked with a plaque or poster. The template and obligation depend on the programme, so we always work from the guidelines you receive with the agreement.
More and more farms also sell under their own brand: honey, juices, cheese, preserves, flour. Then come labels, gift packaging, a market stall and social media photos with a nicely branded stand. Agribusinesses (grain buyers, seed, fertiliser and machinery dealers) need a sign, yard signage and calendars a farmer will hang in the cowshed or workshop for the whole year. We deliver with our own vans across the EU and to the UK, and our crew or partner fitters can install on site.
1. Gate, road and direct sales
By the road what counts is letter size and contrast: 'Strawberries' and an arrow readable from 50 metres do more than a nice photo. We hang the banner on a fence or a timber frame, with eyelets every 50 cm. Remember that a banner on highway land or someone else's fence needs consent from the highway authority or the owner.
- Roadside 'farm shop' banners→Seasonal: strawberries, new potatoes, Christmas trees, eggs. For one season a cheaper material is enough, costing approx. €11 net/m² for a small banner.
- Farm name sign for the gate→Name, type of production, phone. Couriers, buyers and customers find you without calling. UV-printed dibond lasts years in the sun.
- Feather flags at the entrance during the selling season→A moving flag catches the driver's eye. A spike to push into the grass, up in a minute, back in its bag after the season.
- Information board at a grain store or sales point→Intake hours, produce requirements, the way to the weighbridge and office. A driver with a trailer doesn't have to hunt for where to stop.

2. Grant-funded investments
A tractor, sprayer, cold store or new cowshed bought with a grant may need to be marked. Most often it's a plaque or information poster, sometimes a sticker on the machine. Send us the guidelines or the relevant section of the agreement – we'll design to them and print on material that lasts the project's whole durability period.
- Grant-funded investment information plaque→On the building, the fence or on a frame by the gate. UV-printed dibond doesn't fade quickly and doesn't rust.
- Information stickers for machinery→When guidelines require equipment to be marked. Film resistant to rain, sun and pressure washing.
3. Your own produce: labels and packaging
A jar of honey with a handwritten note sells worse than the same honey with a proper label. We print labels on rolls or sheets, and for chilled products on moisture-resistant film. Food label content (ingredients, weight, producer details) must meet regulations – check it with your food safety authority or an adviser; we'll take care of legibility and print.
- Labels for honey, juices, preserves, eggs→For jars, bottles and egg boxes. Short runs for several flavours or batches, with space for a date.
- Gift boxes for honey and hampers→For Christmas and for companies buying local gifts. 100 printed die-cut boxes cost approx. €210 net.
- Cotton bags with the farm logo→For regular customers, at the market and for box collections. 100 bags with a one-colour print from approx. €210 net.

4. Markets, shows and field days
At a farmers' market the stall that says from afar what it sells wins. A printed gazebo protects produce from the sun, and a counter with graphics replaces a folding table. Seed companies and machinery dealers add flags by the trial plots and banners with variety names for field days.
- Printed gazebo for markets and fairs→The farm logo and name on the roof and walls. 3 × 3 m from approx. €750 net, and in later seasons you can replace just the canopy.
- Promotional counter for the stall→Folding, with a front graphic, and holds stock under the top. From approx. €210 net for the set.
- Variety name banners for demonstration plots→For seed companies and agronomists. A banner on stakes by each plot with the variety name and sowing date.
5. Vehicles, calendars and clothing
An agribusiness lives on its relationship with the farmer, and the farmer remembers whose calendar hangs in the workshop and whose cap is in the tractor cab. An agronomist's or service engineer's car branded with logo and phone number drives round the whole district.
- Three-month calendars for customers→They hang in the farm office and workshop all year. Ordered in autumn so they reach customers before the new year.
- Branded caps and T-shirts→For field days, seasonal workers and regular customers. Printing on a cap costs approx. €2.60 net per item, from 25 pieces.
- Livery for an agronomist's or service vehicle→Logo, sector, phone. Cast vinyl with laminate stands up to mud, washing and winter.

From our experience — what to watch out for
- Write one word in big letters and an arrow on a roadside banner. A driver at 70 km/h won't read anything more.
- Take the seasonal banner down after the season, dry it and roll it graphic side out. It'll serve another year instead of going mouldy in the barn.
- Before ordering a grant plaque, send us the programme guidelines. Sizes and mandatory logos differ between programmes.
- Order labels for chilled products on film, not paper. Paper wrinkles and peels with moisture.
- Order customer calendars in September or October. One handed out in February is already late.
