In a flower shop the best advertising is the flowers themselves – a window full of bouquets works better than any poster. So here we don't recommend covering the glass. Advertising should help people find the shop, stop passers-by on the pavement and sign every bouquet that leaves. A bouquet goes to a birthday, a wedding, a hospital, and if it carries a sticker with your name and phone number, the next order comes from the person who received it.
The second thing is seasonality. Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, the end of the school year, All Saints' Day (a major flower occasion in Poland and much of Catholic Europe) and December can make up a large share of annual turnover. For those few weeks it pays to have materials ready: a flag, a stall gazebo, a banner with opening hours over the long weekend. The third thing is moisture: water, the cold room, misting. We choose materials that can take it.
1. Shop sign and pavement
Florists often have a small frontage, sometimes in a kiosk or by a cemetery with several similar stalls next door. The sign must be simple, and in front of the entrance it helps to have something on the pavement telling passers-by they can buy flowers here on the spot.
- Dibond sign over the entrance→Durable, unbothered by rain or washing. 3 mm dibond with print costs approx. €35–55 net per m², so a 200 × 50 cm sign comes to approx. €55 net.
- Double-sided projecting sign at the entrance→If the florist is in a row of shops, a projecting sign over the pavement can be seen from far off in both directions.
- Pavement A-boardPut out every day: 'bouquets ready to go', 'flower delivery', opening hours. In a snap frame the poster changes in a minute, so for Mother's Day you slip in another.

2. Window and interior
On the glass, the logo, opening hours, phone and delivery information are enough – the rest of the glass should show flowers. Inside, one strong feature that customers take photos with works well: a neon or a graphic wall.
- Logo, hours and phone on the window→Printed clear film or cut vinyl lettering. It doesn't hide the display and can be read from the pavement.
- LED neon with the name or a slogan→Warm light behind the bouquets in the window or on the wall behind the counter. Customers take photos with it and post them online. [LED neon](/produkty/neony-led-flex) up to 60 × 40 cm from approx. €210 net.
- Wall mural behind the counter→A full-wall photo of a garden or a bouquet makes a small interior look bigger. Washable vinyl wallpaper copes better with moisture from buckets and misters.
3. Wrapping and signing the bouquet
This is the cheapest advertising in the trade and the most often overlooked. Every bouquet leaves the shop and goes to someone other than the buyer. A sticker on the cellophane, branded paper, a gift card – all of it travels on with your phone number.
- Logo stickers on a roll for sealing wraps→A round sticker with name and phone on cellophane or paper. On a roll they peel off faster at the counter than from sheets. More on the [labels on a roll](/produkty/etykiety-samoprzylepne-z-roli) page.
- Printed wrapping paper→Your own pattern or logo repeated over the whole sheet. The bouquet instantly looks like 'yours'.
- Bouquet cards and gift vouchers→A card with space for a message and your logo on the back, and for the holidays a flower voucher – a present for someone who doesn't know which bouquet to choose.
- Branded paper bags→For pot plants, boxed arrangements and small gifts. Printed kraft 240 × 340 × 90 mm, 100 pcs approx. €185 net.
- Business cards for bouquets and corporate orders→Added to wedding bouquets and corporate orders. 500 business cards cost approx. €15 net.

4. Season, stalls and delivery
For All Saints' Day and the bigger holidays florists set up outside the shop or run a stall by a cemetery or at a market. There what counts is being seen from afar and having a stall people recognise in the same spot every year.
- Feather flags at the stall and outside the shop→Visible from the car park and the road. Winder Midi 70 × 340 cm from approx. €75 net; for a cemetery stall a ground spike base is handy.
- Printed gazebo for a seasonal stall→Protects flowers and candles from rain, and print on the roof and walls turns it into a sign. A 3 × 3 m gazebo with full print from approx. €750 net.
- Branded parasol outside the shop→In summer it shades the buckets of flowers displayed outside. A 3 × 3 m printed parasol from approx. €400 net.
- Flower delivery van livery→Name, phone, 'flower delivery' and a few bouquet photos. The van pulls up at wedding venues, churches and offices – where your future customers are.

From our experience — what to watch out for
- Don't cover the whole window with graphics. In a flower shop the flowers do the selling – leave the logo, hours and phone on the glass.
- Order seasonal materials 3–4 weeks before the occasion. Before 1 November and Mother's Day lead times get tighter, and flags and gazebos need shipping time on top.
- For A-board posters choose an undated design or make several versions at once (Valentine's, Mother's Day, All Saints') and swap them in the same frame.
- Bouquet stickers must stick to cellophane and damp paper. Tell us what they'll be applied to and we'll choose the adhesive and film.
- Check photos for the neon and wall mural on a test print. Flower colours on a phone screen are often much more saturated than in print.
