Race Numbers

A race number has to survive rain, sweat and dozens of kilometres on safety pins, and still be legible for officials and photographers at the finish. We print race numbers with data from the entry list and sponsor logos, then sort them so the event office can hand out packs without searching.

Production options

Synthetic-paper numbers

The standard for road races — they don't soften in the rain and don't tear at the safety pins.

Numbers with a tear-off strip

A perforated coupon for bag storage, a recovery meal or medal collection, carrying the same number as the runner.

Bike and helmet numbers

A set for cyclists and triathletes: a shirt number, a handlebar plate and a helmet sticker.

Numbers without names, for late entries

A pool of numbers with numbering only, for people registering on the day of the event.

How we work

  1. Brief: number of competitors, distances, sponsor logos and the entry file.
  2. Number design and a trial print of a few records from the list for approval.
  3. Variable-data printing, perforation and trimming.
  4. Sorting by number or surname, packing into labelled parcels and delivery before the event.
04

Indicative price

The price of numbers depends on the run, format, material and the amount of variable data per piece. We quote race numbers after a brief with the number of competitors and distances. For typical orders, as a guide:

A5 race numbers, Synaps synthetic paper, 4 holes — 100 pcs
approx. PLN 333 net
A5 race numbers, Synaps synthetic paper, 4 holes — 500 pcs
approx. PLN 692 net

Approximate net prices for a typical configuration, excluding shipping. A different run, format or finish changes the amount — we give the exact price after a brief.

FAQ · Race numbers

Frequently asked questions

What material should a number be made of for wet weather?

Synthetic paper. It doesn't soften, doesn't tear at the safety pins and doesn't bleed onto the shirt. Plain paper is only suitable for indoor events.

How do I send the list of competitors?

In a spreadsheet with columns: number, first name, surname, distance or category. For last-minute entries we also print a pool of numbers without names.

Can the number carry a timing chip?

We design the number so there's free space on the back for a stick-on chip. We agree the size and position of that field with the timing company.

Where should sponsor logos go?

Usually in a band at the top or bottom of the number. The number itself must stay large and high-contrast — legibility in course photos and for finish-line officials depends on it.

Can you meet a fixed date?

Usually, yes. Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and express printing in 24 hours is possible. As the manufacturer we plan production ourselves, so we can schedule your job around your deadline. Add the date to your brief and we will confirm it before work starts.
