Starter Packs for Races and Competitions

The starter pack is the first thing a competitor gets from the organiser — and often the only thing they take home. We assemble packs from elements we print ourselves and materials supplied by sponsors, pack them by entry list, and deliver them sorted to the event office so hand-out runs smoothly.

How we work

  1. Brief: number of competitors, pack contents, the entry list with sizes and the event date.
  2. Design of the sack, T-shirt and printed items, and agreeing the delivery date for sponsor materials.
  3. Production of the elements, kitting the packs by number and labelling.
  4. Delivery to the event office in cartons divided by hand-out station.
04

Indicative price

The price of a pack depends on its contents: the type of sack, T-shirt, number of printed items and gadgets, and the run. We quote starter packs after a brief with the element list and number of competitors.

Net quote after a brief, excluding transport. Materials supplied by sponsors are included in the kitting — the scope is agreed at the quoting stage.

Deadline? We fit the job around it.

Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and up to 14 days for larger projects. That is only a starting point. We are the manufacturer, not a broker — we plan our own production queue, so we can move your job forward to meet an opening, event or campaign date.

FAQ · Race and competition packs

Frequently asked questions

Can you pack sponsor materials into the starter packs?

Yes. Sponsors send their leaflets and samples to us, and we insert them into the packs together with the items we print. We agree the delivery date for those materials at the quoting stage, so there's time to finish kitting.

How do you handle T-shirt sizing?

We take sizes from the entry list and pack T-shirts to match specific numbers. On request, we also add a reserve of sizes for exchanges at the event office.

Can packs be sorted for hand-out stations?

Yes. We split them by number range, surname or distance and label the cartons, so each station gets its own portion.

What about competitors who register at the last minute?

We prepare a pool of non-personalised packs with numbers for late entries. Their details are filled in on the spot.

Can you meet a fixed date?

Usually, yes. Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and express printing in 24 hours is possible. As the manufacturer we plan production ourselves, so we can schedule your job around your deadline. Add the date to your brief and we will confirm it before work starts.
