Posters and Reproductions

An event poster, a display-case notice, a reproduction of a painting or an archival map each call for a different paper and a different machine. We print posters from A3 to large formats, and scan flat originals for reproduction on site using a wide-format scanner.

Indicative price

Poster pricing depends on format, paper, run size and technology: we print A3 digitally, larger formats and reproductions wide-format or on a pigment plotter. Reproductions also involve scanning the original and a test print, so we quote after a brief. Indicative figures for typical orders:

A2 poster, 4/0, 170 gsm coated — 10 pcs
approx. PLN 120 net
A2 poster, 4/0, 170 gsm coated — 100 pcs
approx. PLN 363 net

Indicative net prices for a typical configuration, excluding shipping. A different run, format or finish changes the amount — we give an exact price after the brief.

FAQ · Posters and reproductions

Frequently asked questions

What file resolution does a poster need?

For A3–A2 formats viewed up close, around 300 dpi at 1:1 scale. For B1 and larger posters, 150 dpi is usually enough.

Can you scan an original for reproduction?

Yes. Flat originals — maps, plans, artwork and watercolours on paper — are scanned on a wide-format scanner. Paintings on stretched canvas need reproduction photography, which we arrange individually.

What's the difference between pigment and standard printing?

Pigment inks are more light-resistant, which is why they're used for reproductions and photographs meant to hang for years.

Can a poster hang outdoors?

Standard poster paper is for indoor use. For outdoor display we recommend synthetic paper or blueback and citylight posters.

Can you meet a fixed date?

Usually, yes. Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and express printing in 24 hours is possible. As the manufacturer we plan production ourselves, so we can schedule your job around your deadline. Add the date to your brief and we will confirm it before work starts.
