Augmented reality (AR) adds a second layer to print: the customer points their phone at a poster, package or leaflet and sees a film, animation or 3D model of the product. We have delivered AR campaigns for major brands — we handle the printed materials, the AR content and its publication in a single process.
the printed image acts as a marker — artwork, a logo or a whole photo recognised by the phone's camera
Launch
in the phone's browser after scanning a QR code (WebAR), or via an app — depending on the project
Content
video, animation, 3D model, gallery, link to a shop or form
Print
any medium: poster, banner, packaging, leaflet, window film
Measurement
launch and interaction statistics, if the campaign requires them

Production options
AR in the browser (WebAR)
The customer scans a QR code and sees the content straight away, with no app to install. The lowest barrier to entry for the audience.
AR on packaging or product
The packaging or label becomes a marker — once scanned, it shows the product, a recipe, instructions or a game.
AR campaign across multiple media
The same effect launched from a poster, a window, a leaflet and an in-store display. A consistent campaign with a single set of content.
03
How we work
Campaign goal, media, target audience and assets: video, 3D models, artwork.
Scripting the effect, designing the artwork for recognition, and testing on a print prototype.
Preparing the AR content, publishing it and printing the materials.
Distributing or installing the media, launching the campaign and, if needed, a report.
04
Indicative price
We quote an AR project individually. Cost depends on: the type and number of content pieces (video, animation, 3D model), the launch method, how long the campaign runs, and the volume and type of printed materials. After a short brief we prepare a quoted proposal.
Quotes are net. Printing is priced per the relevant medium's price list, and preparing and maintaining AR content is priced per the scope agreed in the brief.
Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and up to 14 days for larger projects. That is only a starting point. We are the manufacturer, not a broker — we plan our own production queue, so we can move your job forward to meet an opening, event or campaign date.

We take each order from artwork to installation on our own machines and with our own crews, so we decide the production order and the delivery date ourselves. For large roll-outs we are supported by a network of partner plants.

Frequently asked questions
Does the customer need to install an app?
Not always. Many effects work in the phone's browser after scanning a QR code. An app is used for more elaborate projects.
Can any image launch AR?
Artwork with clear detail and contrast works best. Flat backgrounds and repetitive patterns are recognised less reliably, so we test the design on a print before production.
Can we supply our own film or 3D model?
Yes. We prepare it for publication in AR, and help with content preparation if needed.
Will we know how many people launched the effect?
Yes, if the campaign has measurement enabled — we then provide launch statistics.
Can you meet a fixed date?
Usually, yes. Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and express printing in 24 hours is possible. As the manufacturer we plan production ourselves, so we can schedule your job around your deadline. Add the date to your brief and we will confirm it before work starts.
