Configurators and Web Apps

An online configurator lets a customer set up a product themselves, see a preview and get a price right away — without a back-and-forth of emails. We build our own configurators, for example for illuminated light boxes, and develop similar tools for companies that sell made-to-size products or order materials across many locations.

Production options

Product configurator

The customer chooses size, material and options, and sees a preview and price. For made-to-size products: signage, furniture, windows, print.

Print-ready design creator

The customer places a logo and text into a template, and the system prepares a production-ready file.

Chain order portal

Locations order materials from a catalogue of designs, and head office reviews and approves orders.

Internal tool

Pricing calculators and apps for the sales team that speed up preparing quotes.

03

How we work

  1. A discussion of the product, pricing rules and the tool's users.
  2. Screen mock-ups and a feature scope for sign-off.
  3. Building the app, testing with real data, and refinements.
  4. Deployment, training and maintenance with ongoing updates.
04

Indicative price

We quote every tool after discussing its scope. Price depends on the number of products and parameters, how complex the pricing rules are, the preview (2D or 3D), file generation, integration with other systems, and the maintenance model.

Quotes are net and prepared after a brief. Maintenance and ongoing development are billed as agreed in the contract.

Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and up to 14 days for larger projects. That is only a starting point. We are the manufacturer, not a broker — we plan our own production queue, so we can move your job forward to meet an opening, event or campaign date.

FAQ · Configurators and web applications

Frequently asked questions

Can the configurator give a price straight away?

Yes. We transfer your pricing rules into the app, so the customer sees a price update after every change of parameters.

Will the app work on a phone?

Yes. We design web apps to work in a browser on both desktop and mobile.

Can the configurator prepare a print-ready file?

Yes, if the product allows it. The system can generate a customer preview and a production file from the same data.

Who updates prices and products?

We can do it as part of maintenance, or build a panel where you do it yourself.

Can you meet a fixed date?

Usually, yes. Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and express printing in 24 hours is possible. As the manufacturer we plan production ourselves, so we can schedule your job around your deadline. Add the date to your brief and we will confirm it before work starts.
