A municipality's tourist map, a campus plan, a trail map or a festival guide all need to unfold easily and fold back into a pocket. We print maps and fold them by machine — accordion or cross-fold — so the cover always ends up on the outside.
from A3 to larger sheets, folding down to pocket size or DL format

How we work
Brief: area, map base, unfolded and folded format, run size.
Design and layout with panels planned out, approval of the PDF and a folding mock-up.
Printing, cutting and machine folding.
Packing into bundles and delivery to tourist information points or the organiser.
04
Indicative price
A map's price comes from the unfolded sheet format, paper (coated or synthetic), the number of folds, run size and the scope of design work. Tourist maps often also carry partner ad spaces — we quote after a brief, with or without design.
We give a net amount separately for design and for printing with folding; delivery to tourist information points is quoted separately.
Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and up to 14 days for larger projects. That is only a starting point. We are the manufacturer, not a broker — we plan our own production queue, so we can move your job forward to meet an opening, event or campaign date.

Everything produced under one roof.
We take each order from artwork to installation on our own machines and with our own crews, so we decide the production order and the delivery date ourselves. For large roll-outs we are supported by a network of partner plants.

Frequently asked questions
How do I design a map so it folds well?
First we settle on the folding method, then lay the content out across the panels. The cover must land on the panel that ends up on the outside once folded — we prepare a template for this.
Can a map be waterproof?
Yes. On synthetic paper the map doesn't go soft and doesn't tear at the folds, which is why trail and paddling event organisers choose it.
Can you design the map from scratch?
We lay out the map on a base you supply and hold the rights to publish. We add descriptions, a legend, photos and the cover.
Can the map carry grant-funding attribution?
Yes. We add the logos and information required by the programme, following the guidelines you provide.
Can you meet a fixed date?
Usually, yes. Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and express printing in 24 hours is possible. As the manufacturer we plan production ourselves, so we can schedule your job around your deadline. Add the date to your brief and we will confirm it before work starts.
