Monographs, memoirs, publications by municipalities and institutions, or conference proceedings are often needed in a few dozen or a few hundred copies, not ten thousand. We print books digitally in short runs: we check the file, print the block and cover, choose the binding, and pack the copies for shipping.
80–90 gsm offset paper or bulky cream paper, mono or colour printing
Cover
250–350 gsm card, full colour, matte or gloss film
Binding
softcover saddle-stitched for thin publications, or hardcover — made to order, chosen after a brief
Finish

Production options
Softcover book
The most common choice for short runs: a card cover with film, a spine with the title and author's name. Binding is produced to order.
Commemorative publication
An album or book for a municipality's, school's or company's anniversary. Usually photo-heavy, so we choose paper that renders the images well.
Conference materials and reports
Publications printed for a specific event date. We often combine them with name badges and delegate folders.
Reprints and print-on-demand
A few or a few dozen copies from a ready file, once the run sells out.

How we work
Brief: format, page count, run size, paper and file, or materials for layout.
File check, spine width calculation, and PDF approval for the cover and text block.
Printing the block and cover, laminating the cover, binding and trimming on a guillotine.
Packing into boxes and shipping to the specified addresses.

Indicative price
The cost per copy depends on page count, the share of colour pages, text-block paper, binding type and run size — 50 copies of a monograph are priced differently from 500 of a photo album. We quote after a brief, ideally with a ready file or details on volume. Indicative figure for a typical order:
Indicative net price for a typical configuration, excluding shipping. A different run, format or finish changes the amount — we give an exact price after the brief.
Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and up to 14 days for larger projects. That is only a starting point. We are the manufacturer, not a broker — we plan our own production queue, so we can move your job forward to meet an opening, event or campaign date.

We take each order from artwork to installation on our own machines and with our own crews, so we decide the production order and the delivery date ourselves. For large roll-outs we are supported by a network of partner plants.

Frequently asked questions
Who assigns an ISBN number?
In Poland, the ISBN is issued by the National ISBN Agency at the National Library on the publisher's application. An author self-publishing can apply for a number as the publisher, and we'll add it with a barcode on the cover. Requirements vary by country — check with your national ISBN agency if publishing elsewhere.
How do you calculate spine width?
It depends on the page count and paper thickness. Once the paper is chosen, we give the exact spine width for the cover design.
Can colour and black-and-white pages be combined?
Yes. Pages with photos are printed in colour and text pages in mono — for a large page count, this noticeably reduces the cost per copy.
Can you do the book's layout?
Yes, our DTP studio lays out the text and photos, designs the cover and prepares the print-ready file. Proofreading is the author's or publisher's responsibility.
Can you meet a fixed date?
Usually, yes. Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and express printing in 24 hours is possible. As the manufacturer we plan production ourselves, so we can schedule your job around your deadline. Add the date to your brief and we will confirm it before work starts.
