Airtex greyback is a fabric alternative to a PVC banner: lighter, matte, with no glare under stage lighting, and thanks to its grey backing the graphic doesn't show through. It works well in halls, on stages and at trade fairs — anywhere a banner needs to look good up close too.

FAQ · Airtex greyback banners
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Airtex and a PVC banner?
It's a fabric, not coated PVC — lighter, matte and nicer to the touch. It looks good up close and under stage lighting, where a PVC banner can glare.
What does the grey backing do?
The coating on the back limits show-through. The graphic keeps its contrast even with bright light behind the banner, and nothing behind it shows through at the front.
Is an Airtex banner suitable outdoors?
For outdoor events, yes. For many months of outdoor exposure, a PVC banner or mesh is usually the better choice; we can advise once we know the location.
Is the material flame-retardant?
In halls and on stages, the organiser or venue manager often requires flame-retardant materials. If that's the case, mention it in your brief and we'll choose a flame-retardant fabric.
Can you meet a fixed date?
Usually, yes. Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and express printing in 24 hours is possible. As the manufacturer we plan production ourselves, so we can schedule your job around your deadline. Add the date to your brief and we will confirm it before work starts.
