Roll-up Banners and X-banners

A roll-up banner is the simplest way to put your brand at an entrance, on a stand, or next to the judges' table — it unrolls in a minute and fits in the boot of a car. We print the graphics in-house, fit them into the cassette, pack them in a bag, and for the next campaign we simply replace the print.

Production options

Standard roll-up

The most common choice for trade fairs and the office. A light aluminium cassette; we replace the graphics in-house for each new campaign.

Premium roll-up

A sturdier cassette with a replaceable whole graphic insert. For companies that change their message often or take a roll-up out every week.

Double-sided roll-up

Graphics on both sides of the cassette — for walkways, lobbies and places where people pass the roll-up from two directions.

X-banner

The cheapest mobile display. Lighter than a roll-up, but the graphics have to be fitted onto the frame every time it's set up.

How we work

  1. Choosing the format and cassette type, sending a design or commissioning one from us.
  2. Checking the file: bleed, the margin hidden in the cassette, legibility from a distance.
  3. UV printing, trimming and fitting the graphics into the cassette.
  4. Packing into the bag and courier shipping — also to several branches at once.

FAQ · Roll-ups and X-banners

Frequently asked questions

Which roll-up size should I choose?

100 × 200 cm is the most common choice — it fits a logo, slogan and contact details legible from several metres away. 85 cm works in tight spaces, and 120 or 150 cm on stands where the roll-up replaces a wall.

What's the difference between a roll-up and an X-banner?

A roll-up stores the graphics inside the cassette, which protects them better and unrolls faster. An X-banner is cheaper and lighter, but the graphics have to be fitted onto the rods every time it's set up.

How do I prepare a file for a roll-up?

A PDF at 1:1 or 1:2 scale with bleed and a margin at the bottom that hides in the cassette — we give the exact dimension when you order. Put the most important content at eye level, since the bottom of a roll-up is the least visible part.

Can a roll-up be used outdoors?

A roll-up is designed for indoor use — it tips over easily in wind. Outdoors, beachflags, weighted pavement signs or folding pop-up banners work better.

Can you replace the graphics in a roll-up we already have?

Yes. Give us the width, the visible graphics height and the cassette type, or send us the roll-up — we'll print and fit the new graphics.

Can you meet a fixed date?

Usually, yes. Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and express printing in 24 hours is possible. As the manufacturer we plan production ourselves, so we can schedule your job around your deadline. Add the date to your brief and we will confirm it before work starts.
