Translucent film is a coloured, semi-transparent film that glows in a clean, solid colour once backlit. We cut lettering and logos from it for light-box faces, illuminated letters and display cases, matching the shade to your brand colours — and apply it in-house or on site.
Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and up to 14 days for larger projects. That is only a starting point. We are the manufacturer, not a broker — we plan our own production queue, so we can move your job forward to meet an opening, event or campaign date.

Frequently asked questions
How does translucent film differ from backlit film?
Translucent film is coloured throughout and comes in one colour, so lettering is cut from it. Backlit film is white and printed with full-colour artwork.
Will the film colour match my logo?
We match the closest shade from manufacturers' swatch books and check it under illumination. For unusual colours we consider printing on backlit film instead.
How long does translucent film keep its colour?
Film designed for illuminated signage resists fading for many years. Cheap general-purpose film fades faster.
Can I order just the cut-out lettering for applying myself?
Yes. We cut, weed and apply transfer tape, and include brief application instructions in the parcel.
Can you meet a fixed date?
Usually, yes. Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and express printing in 24 hours is possible. As the manufacturer we plan production ourselves, so we can schedule your job around your deadline. Add the date to your brief and we will confirm it before work starts.
