UV Printing on Glass

Printing directly onto glass looks like part of the pane, not a sticker: there's no film edge, and the artwork is protected on the other side of the glass. We print on glass panes, mirrors and glass elements supplied by you or your joiner, using primer and an opaque white base.

How we work

  1. Dimensions and type of glass, mounting method and artwork.
  2. Preparing the file with a white layer; a test on a glass sample for larger orders.
  3. Degreasing, primer, UV printing and inspection.
  4. Protecting the pane and collection, or transport for installation.
04

Indicative price

We price glass printing per m² of printed pane; glass is most often supplied by the customer:

UV print on customer-supplied glass / mirror (primer + white)
approx. PLN 99–143 net / m²
UV print on 3 mm clear acrylic (with material)
approx. PLN 182–257 net / m²
Test print on the final material
approx. PLN 55 net

Per m² of printed pane: a lower figure for orders from 100 m², a higher one for single panes up to 4 m². Rates are indicative, net, excluding the cost of the glass, transport and installation; we give an exact price after a brief.

FAQ · UV printing on glass

Frequently asked questions

Will print on glass scratch off?

Print on the back of the pane is protected by the glass and withstands everyday use. Print on the front needs more careful cleaning.

Can I bring my own glass?

Yes, that's the most common case. The glass must be clean, free of protective film, and fit within the printer bed.

Is UV print on glass suitable for a kitchen or bathroom?

Yes, when printed on the back and mounted that side to the wall. We don't recommend it for places constantly exposed to water, such as inside a shower cubicle, without extra protection.

Can tempered glass be printed on?

Yes. Tempering must be done before printing, because glass can no longer be heat-treated after printing.

Can you meet a fixed date?

Usually, yes. Our standard lead time is about 3 working days, and express printing in 24 hours is possible. As the manufacturer we plan production ourselves, so we can schedule your job around your deadline. Add the date to your brief and we will confirm it before work starts.
